Clarins Bi-Sérum Intensif

Sorry I've been a bit MIA! I've actually been in hospital having an op, but I'm home and recuperating, so what better to do than a whole host of posts, so expect lots to make it up to you!

Hospitals are never fun, but what did make my short stay so much better was making sure my skin stayed in good condition - the air is often stuffy and I had the air con on full so without what I'm about to show you my skin would have seriously suffered!

I recently purchased the Clarins Bi-Sérum Intensif "Anti Soif", a.k.a. HydraQuench Serum. A serum designed to intensively hydrate the skin, whilst also leaving it with a matte finish. I originally used a tester for a week to see how it would react with my skin, and I was so impressed with the results I decided to invest in a bottle, and it hasn't left my sights since! As I've said countless times now, I have very sensitive, dry skin that literally drinks up all the moisture it can get and combined with my usual moisturising regime, my skin has never looked or felt better.

So here's why this serum is just so damn good:

Sorbier Bud - Reinforces skin hydration and radiance
Inca Peanut - Helps restore the hydrolipidic film
Red Algae - Helps stimulate skin's natural moisturisation process.
Hyaluronic Acid - Helps restore the skin's moisture
Katafray - Helps reinforce the skin's surface barrier effect and helps prevent dehydration.

All in all these ingredients combine to completely hydrate and refresh the skin leaving it soft and buttery. I use one pump every morning before I moisturise and apply makeup (it makes my makeup glide on effortlessly) and one pump in the evening after I have cleansed and toned, and before I use my night moisturiser. Since using this I have noticed a huge difference in the way my makeup sits on my face, and also the condition of my skin. With my dry skin, I tend to get almost a bumpy texture along the jawline, this has been completely eliminated! And that is just with a few days use. I can report happily that I've had no breakouts or rashes, and my skin has never thanked me more!

Although it is quite expensive at £41.00 a bottle, it does last 6 months so you do get your moneys worth. I can't recommend it more and your skin wont be able to thank you enough! I'm currently propped up on the sofa waiting for Jess to arrive so we can stick on a film, and I can show her how soft my skin is!
